Area Methodists conducted the first Sunday school classes during the 1870’s in a private home. Ten years later, the first church in Hartley was built. Today, there are four churches located within Hartley, providing spiritual inspiration and faith enhancement to family and friends: Trinity United Church of Christ, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, St Paul’s Lutheran Church and Hartley United Methodist Church. |
